Course Objectives This course aims to explore core developmental processes from adolescence through all phases of adulthood and death.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • To identify physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development in adolescence and adulthood
  • To explain the major theoretical approaches to adolescent and adult development as well as recent research findings related to the topics in study
  • To describe how people define and deal with death and loss
  • To differentiate gender and cultural differences in human development
Course Content Physical, cognitive, and psychosocial development in the periods of adolescence, early, middle and late adulthood; death and bereavement.
