Course Objectives This course aims to address major psychopathologies of childhood and adolescence.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • To elaborate basic principles of developmental psychopathology approach
  • To review main models of psychopathology that sheds light on the etiology, research, prevention and the treatment of problem behaviour
  • To describe diagnostic criteria and basic characteristics of child and adolescent psychopathologies
  • To explain child and adolescent psychopathologies across major developmental contexts
  • To define different prevention and intervention techniques regarding child and adolescent psychopathologies
Course Content Developmental psychopatholog from infancy through adolescence, intellectual disabilities, autistic spectrum disorders, conduct disorder, anxiety and mood disorders.
