Course Objectives Purpose of the course is to introduce quantitative approaches to managerial decision making and apply them.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • to apply the methods of operations research to business problems, to make the right decision
  • to be able to model business problems and to make managerial decisions by solving them with computer programs
Course Content Operational research, structure and solution of decision problems, linear programming, mathematical structure of linear programming, solution techniques of linear programming, graphical method, Simplex method, transportation problems, mathematical structure of transportation problems, solution of transportation problems, MODI test.
