Automotive Engineering Department educates theory and application of automotive technology and scientific fields with solving and modeling the engineering problems. It improves itself by following new technologies and developments in the field.
In the Department of Automotive Engineering, undergraduate education is given entirely in English. Internal Combustion Engines, Heat and Energy Systems, and Aerodynamic Systems are the main divisions. There are Engine Laboratories, Fuel Combustion Test Sets, Bomb Calorimeter, Wind Tunnel, and Brake-Pad Experiment Equipment in the Department. Many research and projects supported by TUBITAK and several industrial companies are pursued.
Young, dynamic, and internationally experienced teaching staff with its up-to-date curriculum helps to maintain high-quality education for future engineers.
