Course Objectives This course aims to the protection, improvement, and prevention of diseases by considering women's biological, psychological, and socio-cultural needs.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • LO1. Explain the basic theoretical knowledge regarding women’s reproductive/sexual health according to different life stages.
  • LO2. Describe women’s sexual/reproductive health problems according to different life stages.
  • LO3. Analyze factors affecting women’s health according to different life stages.
  • LO4. Discuss women’s health problems and solutions in the world and Turkey according to different life stages.
  • LO5. Evaluate the roles and responsibilities of nurses in protecting and promoting women’s health according to different life stages.
  • LO6. Explain the roles and responsibilities of nurses in identifying and resolving women’s health problems.
Course Content Basic concepts related to women's health, factors affecting women's reproductive/sexual health according to their life periods, and nurse's roles and responsibilities in these periods, gynecological oncology and nursing care.
