Course Objectives The aim of this course is to ensure that nursing students understand qualitative research methods and gain the ability to apply these methods. In addition to gaining theoretical knowledge about the qualitative research process, students gain practical experience in various data collection and analysis techniques
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Students who successfully completed this course, will be able to, LO1: Can define the basic concepts and methods of qualitative research. LO2: Gains competence in using qualitative research techniques in nursing research. LO3: Develops skills in collecting, analyzing and interpreting qualitative data. LO4: Can critically evaluate qualitative research in the literature. LO5: Learns the process of reporting and sharing results in qualitative research.
Course Content Qualitative research features, design of qualitative research, data collection techniques in qualitative research, analysis and reporting of data, examples of qualitative research.
