Course Objectives At the end of this course; Will be able to use the helping process and therapeutic communication principles in nursing practice. Will be able to evaluate the principles of the communication process and therapeutic communication techniques by applying them to case examples.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Students who are successful in this course; LO1. Improves existing knowledge about human relations, communication and interaction processes at a high level.
  • LO2. Evaluates human relations and communication processes in line with the concepts of health, disease and nursing.
  • LO3. Uses therapeutic and non-therapeutic techniques in communication and interactions with healthy or sick individuals.
  • LO4. Knows the communication barriers (physical, psychological, social, environmental, individual, etc.) in interpersonal relationships and produces solutions by taking responsibility.
Course Content Basic concepts of communication; human behaviors; communication techniques; use of correct communication techniques in daily life; the use of correct communication techniques in patient, patient relatives and in-team communication.
