Course Objectives Teaching the concept of design management
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Develops the ability to realize a design problem or a need.
  • Understands the stages of research and development of a design need.
  • Explains a design need to the decision makers.
  • Gets informed on the resources for meeting a design need.
  • Learns the basic information on the management of resources and design process.
  • Evaluates the process and the results.
Course Content The course covers issues such as the definition of design in the enterprises, various design disciplines, development of design management, the role of design as a competitive tool, the role of design in the corporate strategies, corporate identity and its management, human resources for design profession, project management in design.
