Course Objectives | This course examines the concepts of the Turkish Constitutional law institutions and the structures of the constitutional system. After a series of introductory lectures on the historical development of Turkish constitutionalism during the Ottoman and early Republican eras, the course elaborates on the basic principles of 1982 Constitution, followed by an analysis of the normative status of fundamental rights and liberties. |
