Course Objectives | The aim of this course is to provide the students with the events related to Turkey and the world in general since this is one of the prerequisites of a professional translator. The students are expected to be aware of the world affairs by making use of the internet, newspapers and TV and to have a background that is required by the translation profession in the future years. The course aims to equip students with the general knowledge of current issues. In this respect, it includes learning the terminology, reading texts and discussion topics about issues that are recently on the agenda of the country and the world. |
