Course Objectives The purpose of this course is to give information about the scope, provisions and results of the Vienna Sales Contract. It will also be compared with the provisions of the Turkish Code of Obligations .
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Implement all legal processes from the establishment of the sales contract to the end of the contract are according to the the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods provisions
  • Determines which contracts in terms of content and location will apply United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods provisions
  • Compare the terms of the Turkish Code of Obligation and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods provisions in terms of sales contracts.
  • Determines the rights and obligations of the parties of the sales contract according to the united Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods provisions.
Course Content The sphere of application of the Vienna Sales Contract in terms of subject and place, the establishment of contracts, interpretation, termination, results in terms of parties.
