Course Objectives The aim of the course is to increase the level of knowledge about basic concepts in law, human, women, children's rights, and rights of individuals with disabilities in international legislation.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • He/she explains the basic concepts of law.
  • He/she establishes the relationship between the Law and Child Development profession.
  • He/she distinguishes between responsibilities and rights.
  • He/she recognizes international organizations and knows their duties, establishes a connection between the work of these institutions and his/her professional work.
  • He/she comprehends the declarations of human, woman, child and disabled rights.
  • He/she understands how and where to reach national and international legislation, and to serve on the basis of legislation in professional studies.
Course Content Examining the basic concepts of law, international and national law, differences in practice and sanction, UN human, women, children and disabled rights, and evaluating practical examples in the professional field.
