Course Objectives To have knowledge about gender-related concepts and theories, to follow gender education practices in the world and in our country, to plan gender education programs for individuals with special needs and individuals in different developmental periods
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;

  • Analyzes the patriarchal system and its functioning process
  • Questions gender education practices in the world and in our country
  • Discuss the relationship between developmental characteristics and gender education
  • Prepares a sexual education program in accordance with developmental characteristics
Course Content Analyzing the basic issues and current problems related to gender and gender in the axis of equality principle and non-discrimination, enabling them to follow gender equality studies in Turkey and the world, and evaluating social life from an egalitarian perspective; sex education in the process from birth to the end of adolescence.
