Course Objectives Acquiring color information. To be able to comprehend the colorants and printing techniques used in the textile industry. Ability to conduct textile printing design studies. Ability to perform original print pattern works. To be able to apply with appropriate colorant and printing technique.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • To be identify color in fashion.
  • Distinguish color rendering systems
  • Define color variables and color spaces
  • Identify color measurement systems in textile
  • Explain the relationships between colors and creates color harmonies.
  • Creates color harmonies.
Course Content Color fundamentals in textile, designing textile printing patterns and using color in variant applications; colorants, printing techniques and technologies used in the textile industry; monitoring and analysis of printing pattern trends; design and printing practices.
