Course Objectives This lesson; It aims to establish fabric, model and pattern relationships, to make complex model applications with dart slides, dress, trousers, skirt model applications and cape drawings.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Establishes the model-fabric-pattern relationship.
  • Makes trouser model applications.
  • Makes skirt model applications.
  • Makes dress model applications.
  • Draws the cloak pattern.
  • Prepares the mold of complex models with collet slide.
Course Content Creating a pattern for the designs by modelling on a stand or using the flat pattern method.

1 Giving general information about the Model-Fabric-Pattern relationship. Explaining the relationship between model design and pattern preparation. General information about the importance of pattern preparation in clothing design. At the end of each lesson, information will be given about the next topic and students will be enabled to make the necessary preparations.
