ECTS - - Airframe and Powerplant Maintenance

The aim of the program is to graduate airframe and powerplant maintenance technicians who; uses high technology, creates technological information and has the ability to match the present and future requirements of airframe and powerplant maintenance. In the department the students will learn how to apply the maintenance practices to, airframe, piston and gas turbine engines, propeller and other subsystems of the aircraft. The courses includes aerodynamics, hydraulics, pneumatics, materials, hardware etc.

Our department has established considering the required hardware and infrastructure which enables the education of competent technicians. Aerodynamics, Airframe, Powerplant, Materials, Physics, Technical Drawing and Computer laboratories are present in the Incek Campus of Atilim University.

Technical courses are 40% given practically and students will have an intense and comprehensive laboratory and workshop practices and also they will have real professional experience by participating on the job trainings and summer practices. Courses in 3rd and 4th grades will be carried on in Atilim Hangar in Esenboga Airport. The hangar has, Airframe Workshop, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Workshop, Engine Workshop and Engine Bench.
