Course Objectives This course proposes to consider Transnational Corporations and their cross-border activities from an interdisciplinary perspective, without being limited only to the fields identified by the business literature.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Understanding how the so-called company was born and how it evolved
  • To understand how companies decide in which areas they operate.
  • Understanding why a firm/company internationalizes/transnationalizes
Course Content The structure of multinational companies, their aims and decisions, the effect of direct foreign investment on economy and politics and the relationship between multinational companies and governments.
