The Political Economy PhD Program is an interdisciplinary program which investigates interactions of economic and political developments, international political economy; political and economic institutions; institutional reforms and transformations; environmental resource policies; social policy and a number of different frameworks.
Students are expected to complete the program in 4 years. Students who successfully pass the proficiency exam will be directed to a two-year research by the thesis advisor they will select in the areas they specialize.
