Course Objectives This course will introduce students to basic political concepts related to media. It will enable students to develop analytical skills in examining the media and will help them understand the relationship between media and politics. The course will also enable students to explore different forms of media and new technologies, making them familiar with the role 'new media' plays in global political processes.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Will be able to conduct a discussion on the relationship between media, democracy and freedom of the press.
  • Know the theoretical approaches to media and mass communication theories.
  • Will have information about political communication in the digital age.

1 Learning the basic concepts, theories and methods of political science and Public Administration and their use in the analysis of national and global political developments, cause-and-effect relations. X
