Course Objectives The aim of this course is to examine the structure and phases of the Russian state from the first periods of history. The political and social transformation that emerged with the expansion of the Russian state from the 13th century to the 19th century will be examined, and the great change experienced with the 1917 Russian Revolution and its impact on international politics will be explained. After the establishment of the Soviet Union, the developments in both domestic and foreign politics will be discussed and the process until its collapse will be evaluated in socio-economic and political terms. The establishment of the Russian Federation in the post-Soviet period and important events that could be the subject of national and international politics until today will be mentioned.
