Course Objectives - Being able to understand necessary techniques to turn the designs into products - Being able to apply to sewing techniques
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Defines the parts that make up the garment.
  • Selects materials and tools suitable for the sewing techniques to be applied.
  • Prepares the sewing sequence according to various sewing techniques.
  • Applies different sewing techniques.
  • Sews shirts according to the sewing order.
Course Content Converting different kinds of cloth and model applications with proper cloth types into product.

1 General information about the sewing technical characteristics of various clothes (skirts, trousers, blouses, dresses, trousers) At the end of each lesson, information will be given about the next topic and students will be enabled to make the necessary preparations.
2 Application of sewing techniques: Pili, pilikaşe, zither pleat exercises "
3 Application of sewing techniques: Flywheel, ruffle, gather, cup, bodice work "
4 Application of sewing techniques: Placket, cuff, belt work "
5 Application of sewing techniques: Molding, dart work "
6 Application of sewing techniques: Piping, slit, elastic set "
