Course Objectives The aim of this course is to inform students about specific issues and problems related to public administration. Students completing the course will understand the State, Public administration, the transformation of the State and Public administration, the administrative structure of Turkey, its historical development, the conceptual framework, comprehend the changes in public organization and new organizations, and analyze the relations between institutions.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Knows the basic concepts of Public Administration and comprehends the process of Public Administration practices from past to present.
  • To have the ability to express verbally and in writing by analyzing the transformation of Public Administration in the historical process.
Course Content Turkey`s administrative structure; central and local governments.

9 Possesses knowledge of both Turkish and world political history, including key periods, turning points, and major actors; thereby understands the influence of countries' socio-historical backgrounds on contemporary political and administrative issues.
