Terms of Application:

  • The transfer transactions to be made within the scope of Additional Article 1 of the Regulation on the Principles of Student Transfer between Associate Degree and Undergraduate Degree Programs, Double Major, Minor Program and Inter-institutional Credit Transfer at Higher Education Institutions shall be carried out in accordance with the principles and procedures to be executed by higher education institutions in fall and spring terms,
  • And the provisions of the Directive on the Principles of Student Transfer between Associate Degree and Undergraduate Degree Programs (click for the directive).
  • Students who registered with Vertical Transfer and Vertical Transfer additional placement and intend to be transferred within the scope of Additional Article 1 shall apply in accordance with the provisions stipulated in the letter published by the Turkish Council of Higher Education on 01.11.2018 with the number E.839702 (click here for the letter)
  • Signed and stamped certificate to prove that student has not received any disciplinary punishment other than a Warning and Reprimand.
  • Applications can be made via Post / Cargo. No application will be accepted after the missing document and application period.

  1. Additional Article-1 Student Transfer Application Form (click to download the form),(The candidates applying for more than one program are required to fill out one application form. Preferences must be indicated on this form which is required to be photocopied for each program. The candidates must submit all required documents along with these photocopies).
  2. Student Certificate  (Signed and Sealed or E-signed and verification code document)
  3. Transcript (In a Closed Envelope) Original copy of the official document showing all courses followed, credits, grades of these course and success average on term basis (photocopies shall not be accepted). This official document shall be obtained from the institution where applicant student will be transferred from.   4.  Course Content (For department students) (Signed and Stamped)
  5. Hard copies of Student Selection Examination and Undergraduate Placement Exam/Transition to Higher Education Exam Results of relevant year
  6. Document proving attendance to English Preparatory School or a nationally and internationally recognized Foreign Language Certificate meeting Foreign Language exemption conditions stipulated by Atilim University English Preparatory School Regulation (for the departments giving education in a Foreign Language)
  7.  Signed and stamped certificate to prove that student has not received any disciplinary punishment other than a Warning and Reprimand.

  8.  A letter stating that the applicant has not made Undergraduate Transfer within the scope of additional article-1 before

  9. * The students admitted to the School of Civil Aviation must submit below listed documents during final registration.

AVIATION MANAGEMENT 1) Having no criminal records to constitute a case against obtaining an airport entrance card.
2) A committee report from a full-fledged hospital stating the absence of any health problems to constitute a challenge in undertaking the profession and/or the professional task at hand, obtained in the last 6 months (hearing loss, impaired vision etc.).
3) Greenlit students will be subjected to background checks, since some practice courses and internship studies entailed by the program take place at the facilities of private and public aviation institutions. Background checks are performed annually. Students exhibiting unfavorable background check results or partaking in disruptive behavior against the order and the discipline of the institutions in question shall be dismissed from the program.
AVIONICS/ AIRFRAME AND POWER PLANT MAINTENANCE 1) Having no criminal records to constitute a case against obtaining an airport entrance card.

2) Having no criminal records to constitute a case against becoming a pilot.
3) Greenlit students will be subjected to background checks, since some practice courses and internship studies entailed by the program take place at the facilities of private and public aviation institutions. Background checks are performed annually. Students exhibiting unfavorable background check results or partaking in disruptive behavior against the order and the discipline of the institutions in question shall be dismissed from the program.

For the applications made from foreign universities, the foreign higher education institutions and education programs where the applicants have received education must be recognized by the Council of Higher Education as an institution authorized to give associate or bachelor’s degree and the equivalence between applicants’ higher education program and applied associate or undergraduate program must be accepted by relevant department of our University.
    (Students who will apply to the Faculty of Medicine must obtain an equivalence certificate)

  9.  Students studying abroad, the country will be taken from the address https://www.turkiye.gov.tr/emniyet-yurda-giriscikis-belge-sorgulama up for the years they studied abroad documents showing input-output
  10. Internet printout showing the ranking on the web pages of those institutions that will apply from the universities in the top 1000 in the world university rankings made by the ranking institutions (Academic Ranking of World University, QS World University Rankings, Times Higher Education World University Rankings) determined by the Higher Education Council.
  11. * The students admitted to the School of Civil Aviation must submit below listed documents during final registration.

 

  • *** Note: (Students studying abroad and in TRNC from the 2017-2018 academic year are required to meet the following conditions:For the programs whose success order is not sought, the central placement score of the student in the type of score valid for the diploma program that the student wants to pass as of the year he / she takes the central examination must be equal to or higher than the lowest base score of the diploma programs of other universities in the country.)
