Course Objectives	This research seminar is designed to train students in the investigation of economic and financial problems, and issues emerging from neo-liberal globalization.
Course Learning Outcomes	The students who succeeded in this course; 1. To learn, and develop the skills in making research. 2. To learn how to write a term paper/project in economics 4. To criticize, and develop coherent arguments that the students can defend in their writing and their in-class discussion.
Course Content	The origins and development of global capitalism and the capitalist state through its various stages; the characteristics of the neo-liberal globalization; the causes and the nature of the financial crisis in the context of globalization and its impact on economic and social grounds.
