Course Objectives This introductory course will focus on civil aviation activities. The course will consist of main concepts of civil aviation activities, services and equipment, and aviation management issues. The main objectives are to identify civil aviation big picture to the students and make them be familiar to civil aviation activities, concepts and management.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Students will learn theoretical background information for civil aviation
  • Students will be able to identify relations of the elements of aviation system
  • Students will be able to describe aviation operations
  • Students will be able to understand and use aviation terminology
Course Content Civil aviation history, civil aviation concepts, civil aviation system, civil aviation organizations, roles and activities in civil aviation, general aviation operations, Turkish civil aviation authorities.
