Course Objectives This course will contribute to students’ personal and intellectual development by motivating them about the moral decision making and cultivating a professional attitude and understanding of the implications of business life by introducing them basic concepts related to the moral reasoning and how to deal with dilemmas they will face during professional work.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • the student can describe major traditional theories, and concepts in ethics.
  • the student can analyze and solve ethical problems, and defends her/his views both orally and in writing.
  • the student can criticize, and construct moral conflicts in business life.
Course Content Ethics and moral reasoning; major traditional theories and concepts in ethics and human behavior; ethical codes; business life applications; responsibilities to society; internal and external factors affecting business life and moral reasoning; entrepreneurship related issues; concepts related to moral reasoning in business life.
