Course Objectives The aim of the course is to introduce students to the basic stages of research based on the scientific method and to enable them to comprehend scientific research methods. This course is generally based on research methodology and methods in social sciences. At the end of the course, students will have knowledge of how to conduct scientific research, the differences between qualitative and quantitative research methods, and how to make literature review, as well as fieldwork and historical comparative research.

  • Understands research methods used in the field of Political Science with examples.
  • Learns to evaluate scientific questions and concepts by connecting them.
  • Recognizes quantitative and qualitative research methods.
