Course Objectives To make students to comprehend the concepts of strategy, planning, strategic planning. On these bases, this course aims to develop skills required to foresee the future, systematic thinking, participation and developing strategy and vision.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • 1. To state definition, aim, historical development, and the types of planning.
  • 2. To summarize definition and content of strategic planning along with the process, steps, and methods of strategic planning.
  • 3. To state strategy and vision development process and the applications of strategic planning and strategic management in Turkey.
  • 4. To classify the intra structure analysis, strengths and weakness, external structure analysis, opportunities and threat factors of institutions.
  • 5. To evaluate the benefits of SWOT analysis, strategic planning, and strategic management.
  • 6. To query institutional performance management, the indicators of performance and the evaluation of performance criteria.
  • 7. To interpret strategic management, leadership and the models of leadership, and the strategic human resources planning.
  • 8. To summarize the concepts of to make difference, be different, innovation, and creativity
